Yoga, digestion and emotional health

  • The Church Hall England, PO19 3XT United Kingdom (map)

What is your gut trying to tell you?

The mind and the body are more interconnected than you might think. We’ve become used to ignoring physical feelings, often from the gut, and instead we allow the conscious, logical mind to have the upper hand.  Yoga is the perfect way to listen to your body more closely.  Once you’ve realised that making some changes could make you feel better physically and mentally, yoga provides a gentle way to make a start without tablets or talk.

The day will be a mixture of doing yoga asana (postures), relaxation techniques such as pranayama or meditation, and learning how physiology - the mechanics and biochemistry of your physical body - influences your emotions and wellness.

So join us to relax, learn and have fun while meeting like-minded people in a lovely setting.  The church hall of St Peter and St Mary in Fishbourne is very close to Chichester, but a haven of peace and quiet.  There is a large car park, a bus stop at the top of the drive, and it’s within walking distance of both Chichester and Fishbourne railway stations.

No prior experience of yoga is necessary and anyone over 18 is welcome. (Teens can attend with a responsible adult in whose care they will be.)

Bring your own lunch, but hot and cold drinks and snacks will be included.  You’re welcome to stay for cake and tea at 4pm too!

Price is £60. Special early bird price of £55 for payments received up to 6 April.

Bring a friend at 50% discount. One per full price booking, space permitting. Places are limited to ensure safety and comfort for all participants.

Book by sending me an email vivoward@gmail.com

I’m sorry, but refunds will only be available if you can find someone else to fill your place. No refunds will be considered after 17 April.
